The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Universal Engineering College offers 2 year M.Tech (Master of Technology) degree programme in Mechanical Engineering. The course divided into 4 semesters, each lasting a period of 6 months.
The course involves real-time applications of fluid flow and heat transfer in Thermal Energy Systems, Cryogenic Engineering and Refrigeration & Air Conditioning etc.
M.Tech.Thermal Engineering is a postgraduate course involving on anadvanced level concepts of energy efficiency, renewable energy & environmental preservation, and their entwinement with classical energy technologies and recently discovered technologies.
Enrolled candidates are trained in design, development, and simulation and to explore new areas in Thermal Energy Systems and allied sciences. The first two semesters of the course involve theoretical subjects & laboratory sessions, while the third semester is about theory & project work and the fourth semester focusses fully on project work. The students are engaged in doing the practical classes in various laboratories such as Heat Transfer Lab,Computational Fluid Dynamics Lab and Advanced Thermal Sciences Lab.
